³¹Yet many in the crowd believed in him, and they said, “When the Christ comes, will he perform more signs than this man has accomplished?”

³²When the Pharisees overheard the crowd murmuring about him, the chief priests and the Pharisees sent temple guards to arrest him. ³³Jesus then said,

“I will remain with you
only for a short time longer,
and then I shall return
to him who sent me.
